Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم (The final prophet)

Peace and Blessings be upon him

Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم was born in a very noble family in the clan of Banu Hashim and the tribe of Quraysh of Makkah (Arabia) in approximately year 570 AD. His lineage goes back to Prophet Ismail, the younger son of Prophet Ibrahim. His youth was exemplary and he was known as truthful, honest and trustworthy in the society. He had not received any formal education or apprenticeship from any teacher or an educational institution. He had worked as a shepherd in his youth and was later engaged with trade from Makkah to Syria. He was chosen by Allah سبحانه وتعالى for the mission of conveying the divine message to the mankind at the age of 40 years. For the following 23 years, this mission became the only priority of his life, day and night. Only a small number of people accepted his message in the beginning; he and his companions were subjected to a long period of systematic torture and social isolation but he showed no sign of backing off from his mission and stood fast by the grace of Allah سبحانه وتعالى . Ultimately, he migrated north from Makkah to Madinah where he was welcomed by the community, accepting his message and helping him spread it to whole peninsula of Arabia and beyond. The message of Allah سبحانه وتعالى was revealed to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم the form of The Holy Quran over the 23 year period. He spent his life according to the teachings of the Holy Quran and he possessed the highest grades of manners, exemplary to every human being. He was most loved by his companions, who were always ready to sacrifice on his orders, followed his orders in words and spirit and spread his message to far corners of the world during his life and after his death. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم died in year 632 AD in Madinah. His message and his teachings, however, remain preserved in the form of The Holy Quran, The Sunnah, and the life of his followers to the day of end of the world.
