The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers.
View Contextكَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?
View Contextإِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

"I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.
View Contextإِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
"So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.
View Contextفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
"No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
View Contextوَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
"So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me."
View Contextفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?"
View Contextقَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْأَرْذَلُونَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do?
View Contextقَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِي بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
"Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know.
View Contextإِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
"And I am not going to drive away the believers.
View Contextوَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
I am only a plain warner."
View Contextإِنْ أَنَا إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)."
View Contextقَالُوا لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَا نُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ

He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me.
View Contextقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me."
View Contextفَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.
View Contextفَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter.
View Contextثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبَاقِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.
View Contextإِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
View Contextوَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
