The prople of Lout (Lot) (those dwelt in the towns of Sodom in Palestine) belied the Messengers.
View Contextكَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?
View Contextإِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

"Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.
View Contextإِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
"So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.
View Contextفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
"No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
View Contextوَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

"Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamin (mankind),
View Contextأَتَأْتُونَ الذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ

"And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!"
View Contextوَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!"
View Contextقَالُوا لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَا لُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُخْرَجِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy).
View Contextقَالَ إِنِّي لِعَمَلِكُم مِّنَ الْقَالِينَ

"My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do."
View Contextرَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ

So We saved him and his family, all,
View Contextفَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ

Except an old woman (his wife) among those who remained behind.
View Contextإِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ

Then afterward We destroyed the others.
View Contextثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ

And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned.
View Contextوَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.
View Contextإِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
English:Mohsin Khan & Halali
And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
View Contextوَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
