About this website
This website has been designed to convey the message of The Holy Quran to every willing person in the world in the easiest possible format through the modern, commonly used internet based technology. The Holy Quran is the latest of the series of instructions that our creator, Allah سبحانه وتعالى conveyed to us through His last messenger, The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. This Holy book tells us about the reason of our creation, what is expected of us in this life, what is going to happen after we leave this world and what are the criteria that will determine whether we succeeded or failed in fulfilling the purpose of our existence on the earth. Thus it is very important for each individual to study this message and make his/her utmost effort to follow its instructions.
The main aim of this website is to introduce us to the contents of The Holy Quran. If a reader wishes to study any topic in detail, he/she may make efforts to search through other resources available in the Islamic literature. Since the revelation of The Holy Quran 13 centuries ago, many eloquent interpretations have been written by prominent scholars to explain its message to the masses in different languages and different regions of the world. This website is not a scholarly activity. Different topics and subtopics have been designed to introduce us to the verses of the Holy Quran that address the answers to the questions that may arise in our mind on that particular subject. All the verses have been displayed in the original Arabic text and the reader can choose a translation that he/she finds easy to understand. The pre-text and the post-text of each verse or set of verses can be seen as it appears in the original script of the book.
The following points are important to understand:

About The Holy Quran:
The Quran is the word of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and He has promised that He will ensure that His word remains in this world and propagates for as long as He wishes. Any individual or group of individuals whose efforts are utilized by Allah سبحانه وتعالى to achieve this mission should feel privileged for this acceptance and stay humble during the performance of this noble duty.
About Quranic language & layout:
Quran is a divine & universal book with its text in Quranic Arabic. The real meanings of the words can be best appreciated only by reading and understanding the Arabic text. Many statements in Quran have very extensive meanings & even for those who understand Arabic, there are many interpretations which are hidden because of limited human knowledge at a given time. Many verses have been understood after centuries when we discovered the realities of the universe and human life with progression of worldly knowledge. Yet there are many statements whose true meanings will be obvious after we leave this world. It is thus important to preserve and present the original (Arabic) text of the Quran to the masses and let The Quran challenge their intellect and their conscious. It is also important to preserve the order of the verses and chapters of Quran as this is the order in which our beloved prophet asked his companions to arrange it during the time when the Quran was revealed and we do not have full knowledge to appreciate the wisdom of this arrangement to make any alterations to it.
About Quranic translations & interpretations:
Translation (meanings) and Tafseer (interpretations) of The Quran has been done in almost all major languages of the world and this is the result of life-long efforts by many prominent scholars over centuries. This is a very technical and scholarly work and requires basic knowledge and qualification in many disciplines before any such work can be contemplated. Even then, each translation & Tafseer (interpretations) has a human element to it and only serves the purpose of facilitating the understanding of the message of The Quran. Actual meanings of Quranic verses should still be best understood in Arabic and real interpretation of The Quran is the life (The Sunnah) of The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.
