Tawakkul (Reliance) upon Allah سبحانه وتعالى

Once a Muslim declared that he believed only in Allah سبحانه وتعالى as his creator and sustainer; and that the ultimate source of all powers is Allah سبحانه وتعالى, he is expected to meet resistance from people around him. He may get harsh treatment from non-Muslims who do not believe in oneness of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. He may also receive discriminatory treatment from members of his family and community who could attract him to carry out actions contrary to commandments of Allah سبحانه وتعالى for short-lived worldly gains. To stay steadfast in these situations is easy only if he puts full trust upon Allah سبحانه وتعالى and has full hope and confidence that Allah سبحانه وتعالى is with him and will help him against all odds. He should also have trust that he will meet the ultimate success with the grace of Allah سبحانه وتعالى if he continues to obey Allah’s commands and continues to refrain from Allah’s disobedience.
