Timing of the Doomsday (Al-Qayamah)

There is no doubt that this world is going to come to an end one day with a big bang and that it is going to be followed by resurrection of all human beings. However, the exact timing of this event is only known to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. It is such a big event and so sure to come that nobody should stay in doubt about its occurrence. Once the doomsday is declared, all the events will follow very rapidly and no power of the world will be able to evert the calamity of that day. One should thus not stay disconnected with its existence and should be practically ready to present himself / herself to The Lord of that day.
