Truthfulness of the Holy Quran

The Holy Quran is a message from Allah سبحانه وتعالى for the guidance of the mankind. Allah سبحانه وتعالى is the creator of the man and whole of the universe around us. He has the knowledge of all the secrets of the earth and heavens. By His knowledge, He has sent to us the true guidance in the Holy Quran, the guidance which is free from any falsehood or doubts. Allah سبحانه وتعالى and His angels testify to the truthfulness of The Holy Quran and His testimony is sufficient in this regard. Allah سبحانه وتعالى has, however, put forward many arguments supporting the truthfulness of the Holy Quran as a divine message. Some of these arguments are as follows. (1). If the Holy Quran were not a divine message, there would be many contradictions in its text. (2). The Holy Quran has narrated the details of the stories of the past nations which were not known before and The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم had no external source of knowing these details except through a divine message. (4). The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم had lived all his life between the people of Makkah and had not learnt to read or write formally before the revelation of the Holy Quran. How could he have produced such an elaborate book without divine revelation? (5). Also, the scholars from the people of the scripture (the Christians and the Jews) could recognize the Holy Quran as a divine message as it was referred to in their scriptures. Indeed, some of their scholars who accepted Islam were present there at the time of the revelation to testify to the truthfulness of The Holy Quran.
