Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم; the Final Prophet

Since the beginning of the mankind on the earth, Allah سبحانه وتعالى has been sending His messengers for their guidance. All the messengers had the same mission i.e. to guide the mankind towards the path of Allah سبحانه وتعالى as their creator and sustainer and as the only one worth worshipping. One or more messengers were sent to each and every nation in the past. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is the last of the series of messengers and has been sent for the guidance of all mankind from his advent to the day of Judgement. Message delivered by him is the continuation of the message brought down by all the past messengers. In fact, the information of the advent of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as the last prophet was given to all messengers and was mentioned in the divine books of the past. Belief in the prophet hood of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and his teachings is an integral part of Islamic faith. Following the message brought by him in the form of The Holy Quran and his life style (The Sunnah) is the key to the success of this world and the hereafter.
